Yet, it doesn't take much to get started.

1) An Affiliate Offer
​

First thing, you need is an affiliate service or program to get started with.

The key is to find out something that interests you and can connect with your goals.

2) EMAIL AUTORESPONDER

You're going to need is an email autoresponder. 

I know that may sound a little bit intimidating but it is important to capture emails for 2 reasons.

A) THIS HELPS YOU TO MARKET TO YOUR CUSTOMER ONE THAN ONE TIME 

It is said that the average person buys after being exposed to a product between 7-10 times.

Having an autoresponder will allow you to give value and market to a lead more than once. 

(A lead is just a person interested in your offer, a potential customer.)

B) FB, YouTube, and Twitter are good, but we don't own them. 

It is important to use Twitter, and YouTube (as we will see later) to get traffic and generate interest. 

But we DO NOT own these platforms. 

We will have control over the list of emails that we create. 

The key to building a successful email list is to give value. 

You want to use create a capture page that can give someone value in exchange for an email address. 

This is where you can give away something of value to use.

Building a successful email list is giving value as well as promoting. 

You will want to keep connected with your email list often. 

Take my example below:

For every 4 emails you send, make sure that the fourth you send is promotion of your affiliate marketing product or service. 

You want to help people with something, not just promote your products.

3) TRAFFIC 
​

The most important thing to any business, big or small, is traffic. 

Traffic is just a steady flow of interested people to your promotional hub. 

There are two types of traffic:

FREE TRAFFIC - YouTube, social media outlets like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. 

PAID TRAFFIC - This will consist of YouTube ads, Facebook ads, etc. 

If you are an affiliate marketing beginner, I suggest you start with a free method like YouTube. 

Here are some options you can use to get traffic to the landing page of your autoresponder.

As far as paid options, you can use Qwikads. 

Qwikads is similar to Craigslist as it is a classified ads site.
